Two new items this week stood out for customers; baked buffalo panko chicken is a healthy way to get your buffalo cravings in without resorting to wings. In the process of making roasted root vegetable skewers for a catering client, we amassed beet, carrot, turnip and parsnips that remained from cutting tiny cubes of root vegetables for the skewers. The resulting soup (Root Vegetable Bisque with Fennel & Basil) will likely take it’s place in our “keeper” vegetable soups.
